Key Lime Pie S1 [F]

Key Lime Pie S1 is a feminized photoperiod S1 of Key Lime Pie, bred by Sin City Seeds by selfing the original clone-only mother.

An S1 is made by reversing a single female plant to produce pollen and using it on itself, so every seed in the pack carries the genetics of that one plant and nothing else. That is what makes this the reference point for the whole line: it is the closest thing to the original Key Lime Pie cut available as seed. Most plants in an S1 pack will closely resemble the mother, though selfing can bring out recessive traits that were hidden in her — that is normal for the format and is explained in full in our seed terminology guide.

Key Lime Pie itself is a Girl Scout Cookies phenotype, selected in the early 2010s for a limonene-led terpene profile — lime zest and citrus peel over pie-crust sweetness — that separated it from the doughy, earthy phenos its siblings threw.
