Coastal Candy is a feminized photoperiod cross of Pure Michigan F2 #2 and Grape Puchao, bred by Appalachian Genetics.

It shares its mother with Juneberries: Pure Michigan F2 #2, a single numbered selection out of Appalachian’s second-generation Pure Michigan line. F2 is the generation with the widest phenotype spread, so picking one plant out of it and breeding from her is how a line gets narrowed toward something repeatable (seed terminology guide).

The line’s third pack, Pure Michigan F3, has sold out and now sits in Past Drops.
